Liverpool Lovin

Today was Beatlemania! We started out by walking to the Beatles Story museum. It was really fun to have dance parties to the Beatles music they had playing. We even went in the Yellow Submarine! We had these dorky little audio-tour headphones, so we were learning cool details throughout the whole thing.
Then we went to a Maritime Museum, a second Beatles museum, and on a treasure hunt. The treasure on our secret map was to find the Mormon Memorial on the docks. We were so happy when we saw the ocean!! The church gave it to Liverpool to commemorate all of the English Mormons who immigrated to the United States from this dock. We found it!
And then…. Shopping!!! Until this point, the only shopping I had done was walking through Portobello Market, but today I went into some of the stores I have wanted to go in desperately the last few weeks! Needless to say: one hat, a ring, an earring set, a few headbands and some nail polish are now happily in my possession.
